Screens that fold…without creasing? DesignScreenHD has invented a patented mechanism, unique in the world:

1. DesignScreenHD projection screens are equipped with a HD quality screen surface, just like those found in cinemas, that has a reflective top coating, without directionality, making quality projections possible in a living room environment. In the open position, our screens are fully tensioned on aluminium fixed frames (strung every 6cm on all four sides) and give the experience of a dedicated theatre room in your living room.

2. Thanks to a patented triptych mechanism, DesignScreenHD screens are the only screens in the world that can fold in 3 parts. It's as simple as closing a window: close the left section, then the right, that's it! This mechanism never crushes the screen surface, even long-term, because it is just gently curved like a “paper clip”. The patented mechanism is made up of 3 articulated panels. When the left panel is closed, the central panel moves back into the casing and moves the screen surface away from the hinges. When the screen is opened, the panels realign and the projection screen self-tensions thanks to 4 mechanical arms that help the opening. At last you can have a fully tensioned projection screen that takes up only a third of your living room wall space.

3. Once closed, DesignScreenHD projection screens are entirely concealed behind an authentic picture frame on the façade. There is the choice between aluminium frames, wood frames or a stretcher for original artwork so you can you can customise your picture frame to your personal taste. Your cinema screen blends in seamlessly with your living room décor, your conference room, your press room or your yacht! No more casing or electric cables on the ceiling!
